Sarah Cohn is Senior Strategist and Director of National Media Relations at Carey O'Donnell PR Group. She contributes to the development of the program of work for the Agency's clients in law, financial, healthcare and nonprofit sectors, and manages comprehensive national media outreach for each of them.  

Prior to joining the agency, Sarah was head of corporate communications and investor relations at RiskMetrics Group, a leading provider of risk management and corporate governance services to the global financial community. Most notably, she led the company's communications efforts during its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 2008 while simultaneously directing media strategy at the height of the financial crisis.  

Sarah served as public relations manager at CNN, CNNfn, and CNN Headline News. In this role, she was responsible for the daily and long-term press strategies for Lou Dobbs Tonight, Anderson Cooper 360, Aaron Brown NewsNight, Nancy Grace, and CNN's business programming. Specifically, Sarah managed communications activities surrounding new program launches and promoted newsmaker interviews, network ratings, segments and series, breaking news, and CNN's on-air talent.  

Additionally, Sarah worked at several leading New York-based public relations agencies, including Rubenstein Public Relations and Technology Solutions where she managed public relations programs for clients in the real estate, entertainment, education, and technology sectors. She also possesses conference planning experience, and has developed and executed large-scale national events for Fortune 500 telecommunications companies.  

Sarah holds a bachelor of arts in Japanese and East Asian studies and a minor in business from the University of Florida. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute, South Florida Chapter, and the Public Relations Society of America, Gulfstream Chapter.
