Carey O'Donnell has more than 25 years of experience in advertising and public relations, acquired over the course of her career working in the United States, Canada, Ireland and Italy. Her firm, established in West Palm Beach in 1995 with a satellite office in New York, provides a comprehensive spectrum of public relations, advertising and interactive marketing services to industry leaders in the arts, banking, consumer goods, economic development, healthcare, hospitality, law, real estate, retail and nonprofit organizations. Her firm is ranked by revenue among the top ten in the State of Florida.

Prior to her return to Florida, Carey served as marketing manager and director of public relations for New England's largest oceanfront resort and real estate development, New Seabury Cape Cod. She was the director of marketing at a leading Canadian ski resort  and worked for three years as a general assignment reporter and sports columnist for Montreal's English daily newspaper, The Gazette. She was a contributing editor to SKI Canada magazine for four years and was concurrently a news reporter for two leading Montreal radio stations, CHOM-FM and CKGM-AM. She contributes to a number of national lifestyle and business publications, and advises corporate leaders and business groups how to work effectively within the new media landscape.

Carey serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. She chairs the Palm Beach County Education and Government Programming Advisory Board that supervises Channel 20. She is a member of the Board of Governors of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, and past-chairman of the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau public relations committee. She led a national marketing task force for the City of West Palm Beach, and her firm continues to manage advertising and public relations for the city's Downtown District. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the American Association for Public Opinion Research. She is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Forum of Palm Beach County and the Alumni Committee of the Palm Beach Day School. She speaks French fluently, has a working knowledge of Italian, and maintains an extensive network of relationships with business and lifestyle media in Western Europe.
